We are pleased to introduce the MSEA Journal Prize, an international excellence award established by the journal Materials Science and Engineering: A (MSEA, the ‘Journal’) to recognize academics working in the field of structural materials science who have made an outstanding contribution to the Journal.
The award will consist of a cash prize of 1000 USD, crystal-engraved plaque, and a two year electronic subscription to MSEA. The winner will be announced in the journal in addition to e-marketing channels. The award recipient will be asked to submit within 1 year an original Review Article for publication in the Journal.
Criteria: Nominations are open to the Journal community with no discrimination for region, age or gender. Nominators must provide the following supporting information by filling in the form below:
- Nominee and nominator's contact details
- Biography, maximum of 200 words.
- List of relevant MSEA publications.
- Briefly describe major impact of relevant work, maximum 750 words.
Nomination Process: A call for nominations will be open to all from now through 31st January, 2012. The nomination must be accompanied by the aforementioned supporting information. Nominators will be able to submit all relevant content via the form below. Self nominations are excluded.
Selection Process: Nominations will be evaluated by the MSEA Editors, who will also select the winner based on the above criteria. The selected winner will be notified by the Journal prior to any public announcement of the award.
